About Honeywood Studio

About the Founder

Honeywood Studio was founded by Laura‑Anne Tiscornia—known to many simply as L.A. (like the city)—whose lifelong passion for furniture, art, and design has shaped a distinct curatorial vision bridging past and present.

Before establishing Honeywood Studio, L.A. spent nearly a decade working in the nonprofit and fine art sectors in Washington, D.C. Her deep appreciation for art, history, and craftsmanship eventually led her to London, where she pursued a Master’s degree in Fine and Decorative Art at Sotheby’s Institute of Art. There, she honed her visual and analytical skills, studying fine and decorative art and design spanning the late Renaissance through the 21st century. Exploring centuries‑old buildings and learning about historic architecture and interiors became her true source of inspiration.

L.A.’s professional experience spans both sides of the Atlantic—from international galleries to residential and commercial interior firms—providing a broad understanding of design in both European and American contexts.

In May 2018, she founded Honeywood Studio to bring her expertise and eye for detail to a wider audience. Her mission is to offer affordable yet refined access to curated design, pairing revived American and European furnishings with thoughtful interior solutions that embrace a contemporary lifestyle with an antique twist.
