About Honeywood Studio

Honeywood Studio's founder, Laura-Anne Tiscornia worked for nearly a decade in the nonprofit and fine art sectors in Washington, D.C. After deciding she wanted to pursue a lifelong obsession with furniture and design, she packed up all her things and moved to London to broaden her knowledge base and learn more about her passion.

She completed her Master’s degree in Fine and Decorative Art at Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London, where she acquired the visual, critical, and research skills necessary to study fine and decorative art and design from the late Renaissance through the 21st century.

She has several years of international gallery experience as well as working for residential and commercial furniture dealerships, specifically in London and Washington, D.C.

With knowledge and experiences on both sides of the pond, Laura-Anne founded her own decorative antiques and design business: Honeywood Studio in May 2018. Its mission is to be an affordable and accessible Washington-area source for curated design and revived decorative American and European furnishings.
